A two-step verification allows you to verify your identity every time you log into your account by entering a one-time password created by an authenticator app, a code we send you via SMS, or an eBay app push notification.
This explains how to enable two-step verification on the eBay app.
Get the most recent version of the eBay application on the Play Store.
Sign in to your account and Proceed to ”My eBay”
Click on Settings.
Proceed to ”Sign in and security”
Choose 2 Step Verification.
Click on ”Turn on” beside Use the eBay app
Click on ”Allow” eBay to send you a notification.
Click on ”Verify” to allow eBay to send a security code to your phone number.
Enter the security code and click on ”Verify”.
