Shopify 2-Step Authentication – Sms Delivery
Two-step authentication adds a layer of security to your Shopify account by using more than just your password to log in. It ensures your Shopify account’s security by requesting a code from you. In this manner, your mobile phone remains necessary for someone to successfully log in to your account, even if they manage to get their hands on your password. It greatly improves your Shopify account’s security.
To enable two-step authentication with SMS authentication, follow these steps:
From your Shopify admin, click your username and account picture.
Click Manage Account
Click Security
Verify your Account with your email address
In the Two-step authentication section, click Turn on two-step.
Click on the Arrow Up and Down button and choose SMS delivery
Select your country code, enter your phone number, click on ”I am human” and click on ”Send authentication code”.
You will receive an SMS with the authentication code, Enter the code and click ”Turn on”.
